- no formal dress code is listed, and diners consistently report a much less strict atmosphere than expected, with chinos and a button-down feeling entirely appropriate. Staff recommends Smart casual. Although recent reviews mention other guests showing up in trainers and casual shirts.
- hillside setting: evenings can be breezy even in summer. The walk from the road involves some steps, so prefer comfortable shoes.
